Haringey Literary Festival

"Leading local authors including Freya North and Romesh Gunesekera are centre stage at Haringey Council's first ever literary festival, from 29 March to 10 April. 'Haringey Reads Haringey' is a fortnight of events in libraries across the borough, from author talks to storytelling, writing classes and literary walks, with a focus on local talent. 'We have fantastic literary talent in Haringey and I'm delighted that so many authors are supporting our first ever literary festival,' said Cllr Dhiren Basu, Haringey cabinet member for leisure, culture and lifelong learning. 'Our libraries are at the heart of our community, and this new festival is part of our efforts to provide a wide range of cultural events and activities for all. I hope as many people as possible will come along'"
